Privacy

This is a personal shop — a shelf of books and records, and a research desk for tracking down the ones still missing. It sells nothing and it asks nothing of you.

What this site collects about you

Nothing. There are no analytics or tracking scripts on this site, no cookies, no accounts, no sign-in, and no forms. Nothing you do here is recorded, and there is nothing to opt out of.

Your browser still makes ordinary web requests to load these pages, and the hosting provider keeps standard server logs the way every web host does. That is outside this site’s control and is not used for anything here.

What the research desk shows

The Market Intelligence pages watch public listings on marketplaces — eBay, AbeBooks, Biblio, Heritage, Discogs, Reverb and USAudioMart — for a short list of specific books, records and audio equipment. What you see is the public listing: title, description, condition, asking price, shipping, a thumbnail, and the region it ships from.

Seller and dealer identities are not published here. The tool reads a seller name only to recognise when the same physical copy has been listed on two different sites, and that name is discarded before anything is written to this site. Ships-from location is deliberately kept coarse — state or region and country, never a city — because a city and a username together identify a person.

This is a report-only tool. It never buys, bids, watches, or messages anyone. Every number on those pages is there to be read by one person deciding whether something is worth chasing.

If a listing of yours appears here

Listings are public marketplace postings, shown as research notes rather than as an offer or an endorsement. Nothing that identifies you personally is stored or displayed. If you would rather a listing not be shown, say so and it will be removed.
